The Blast Furnace (often misspelled Blast Furnance) is a minigame in Keldagrim.
Why do it?
It requires only HALF the coal for smelting bars. This makes it incredibly profitable for rune/adamant bars and the fastest XP for gold bars.
Requirements
- Start The Giant Dwarf quest.
- 60 Smithing (recommended for no fees). Before 60, you pay 2500gp every 10 minutes.
- Ice Gloves (essential) to pick up bars immediately.

Is Gold Smithing profitable?
No, smelting gold bars with Goldsmith Gauntlets is VERY expensive (-3gp/xp) but gives massive XP (300k+/hr).
